The Spinetingler Awards are among the most respected on the net. So, to see some of your friends on the list of nominees is thrilling.
Finding it hard to be impartial, I have to say, I'm particularly thrilled that my loyal friend, Lily Childs, made the coveted list with her short story Carpaccio. We're so proud to have published this creepy and memorable tale here on TknC.
The list of ten nominees just oozes class - Jodi MacArthur, Matthew C Funk, Nigel P Bird, Chad Eagleton, Steve Weddle, plus some others I'll be checking out. Voting starts next week. The full list is here.
Congratulations to you all!
Congrats to all - stonkingly grand news.
ReplyDeleteExcellent news! Congrats to TKnC and Lily!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lily, whose story I'll be reading in just a few, and to TKnC.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your support, Col. If it hadn't have been for you personally, and TKnC I have no doubt I'd still be flailing in the 'should I, shouldn't I' world of the potential writer.
ReplyDeleteThere are some wonderful names on the nomination list, and I am truly proud to be amongst them.
Thank you!!
Congrats to everyone nominated! Great work Liii.
ReplyDeleteThat's one mean story on one phenomenal list.
ReplyDeleteNot having probed too deep into horror flash before, I first encountered Lily Childs in Chris Allinotte's Madness in March series. My mind had just finished recuperating when I read the Spinetingler nominees and clicked over to "Carpaccio."
ReplyDeleteInsert universe into pistol, aim at head.
I'm an LC convert, and if she doesn't at least give the other (still very deserving) writers a run for their money, I'll eat my hat.
Eat. My. Hat.
Congrats to Lily, TKnC and all the other nominations; great news.
ReplyDeleteCheers everyone - shucks!
