And I love the blues club setting.

I always thought there was a good story in the fate of the first, original blues-harp player Sonny Boy Williamson. Everyone talks about the second Sonny Boy (Alex Rice), who stole his name. But the second man was also the better musician.

What would it be like to have someone steal your name, and know that, even if you got your name back, people would be asking, "What happened? You used to be great!"

I've thought of writing that story...but I think you're the man to do it.Tony Conawayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07256198676368979247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3733545996388457449.post-29185448970912416722012-05-04T10:19:34.600+01:002012-05-04T10:19:34.600+01:00I don't know too much about blues music but I ...I don't know too much about blues music but I know what I like. All the names are right and the tale plays like that muddy, muddy delta current runnin' through an old black man's loose strung guitar. Had to back track to the bar's name. Thought for a minute it might have been Crossroads. Might be it was that in an . . . older time. This one hit me where I live, Chris. I also like the fact that you leave it to the reader to interpret and draw conclusions. My guess is that Bro is dead... trapped in Limbo perhaps. Even if that's the case, I'm wondering how he died... suicide perhaps...?

Thought-provoking stuff.

Regards,
ColAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17913040012695421077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3733545996388457449.post-81863335126246667002012-04-30T22:23:46.509+01:002012-04-30T22:23:46.509+01:00This haunting tale swept me away Donnie.
